Trip to Seattle

October 2001

Mt. St. Helens It talks too. A view from Salty's. The Ferry Ride to Whidbey Island Jay admits he doesn't know where anything is in Seattle. Jen's response.
Cabin on Whidbey Is. Middle of nowhere. All it needed was a dog sleeping in front. Kitchen, fully stocked. Vacation from the grocery store-I was in heaven. Living room. 2 Days of not having to be anywhere. The Porch.
The Bedroom. The Front Yard. Lazy Sunday. Back to civilization. The First Starbucks. They sell souvenoirs. If you thought the coffee was expensive... Seattle Underground Tour.
It was the original streets of Seattle. A lot of these beams broke during last year's earthquake. Thanks for the advance warning. Looking up. These are glass blocks in the current sidewalk. They raised the city because of all the mud, tide water, and logs being slid down ('skid row' founded here). Higher up the hills, indoor plumbing was installed. So guess whay else flowed down here. The Space Needle.
Seattle at Night. It was windy. And dark. And really damn high up. Mt. Hood again. Not that exciting unless you were there. Because it had finally stopped raining after 6 days.
